NR CPA Ltd. is a growing North Vancouver based accounting firm that specializes in accounting, tax, bookkeeping, full cycle and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Senior Accountant to join our collaborative team of professional accountants. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of related experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to get exposure to work on a wide variety of assignments in a relaxed accounting firm environment. We pride ourselves in being an accounting firm with a healthy work/life balance with lots of coffee and humour to get us through tax season.

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work directly with clients on a variety of assignments and gain exposure to all areas of the following duties:

• Preparation of Compilation & Review Engagements.
• Preparation of Corporate, Personal, Trust tax returns.
• Client communication and relationship management.
• Other accounting and tax related tasks as required but not limited to preparation of GST, PST and WCB returns.
• Develop and maintain trusting relationships with our clients
• Stay informed of general and business developments / practices and their impact on our clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially excel)
• Experience with Caseware, Profile, Quickbooks Online & Desktop and Sage is preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong commitment to being part of a dynamic and collaborative team, be self-motivated, and have the desire to provide a high quality of service
