We are looking for a Security Business Analyst who will work with the skilled team of cyber specialists for a large healthcare client. As a Daemon Defense Security Business Analysts, you are a talented team player, a confident communicator and can quickly grasp and analyze complex issues, diagnose multi-dimensional problems, and devise insightful/appropriate responses or strategies to address them. You maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality. You will collaborate with the team and contribute to the security framework with impeccable attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead the definition of solutions for managing the identities and controlling access for all users, including privileged access users and users of cloud services
  • Manage the information gathering, analysis and development of technical and non-technical requirements to be met by new cyber security solutions
  • Document solution business requirements and participate in technical designs
  • Develop detailed specifications documentation from which solutions will be planned, designed, deployed and tested
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen long-term relationships or partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Define business and system processes as well as design and implement cyber use cases/metrics for the improvement of IAM cyber controls
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Lead and participate in functional testing, acceptance testing and end-user training
  • Analyze, evaluate, recommend changes and develop end to end business processes
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and stream business processes to create efficiencies
  • Identify and evaluate critical success parameters, factors, and performance measurements
  • Assist other stakeholders in development and implementation of business improvement processes and programs
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize information that provides insight into best practice and lessons learned that would effectively support managing change

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in Cyber technology end-to-end implementation projects and gathering and documenting user needs and translating them into technical and non-technical requirements
  • Experience with end-to-end identity & access management solutions in a complex environment
  • Experience gathering and documenting user needs
  • Knowledge and understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Account Management (PAM)
  • Strong demonstrated team member with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to professionally handle confidential matters
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, relationship building, and influencing skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and meet deadlines with minimal guidance and supervision
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing technical, regulatory, and compliance environments
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines at a time
  • Familiarity with cloud based IAM solutions, such as Azure AD, AWS IAM, or GCP IAM is an asset
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation or PMI-BA is an asset
  • Knowledge of government and health care environments is an asset
  • Familiarity with other industry security or privacy regulations: FIPPA, HIPPA, etc.
