The Position:
Winkler Co-op is hiring a full-time Scratch Baker at our Morden Food Store.
What you’ll do:
The Baker is responsible for preparing and baking a variety of doughs, pastries, muffins, cookies, and other product from scratch, using raw ingredients. The Baker will follow production schedules and will be responsible for quality standards. Other duties will include packaging, merchandising, and performing general housekeeping duties.
The Baker will be available to work very early morning shifts and will exemplify the Co-op brand while maintaining positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.

- Can perform a variety of activities, which may include lifting up to 50 lbs and repetitive motion
- Have strong communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Are available for full-time work, including working very early morning shifts.
- Are willing to work with commercial equipment (mixers, slicers) and commercial ovens.
