This position is located at our Head Office in Burnaby, BC.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sales/Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for fulfilling customer and stock truck/equipment orders. This position includes such duties as ordering new trucks and equipment, processing invoices and credit requests, and maintaining inventory information in the company’s business systems. You will work closely with the sales and procurement teams to ensure accurate inventory levels, fulfillment of custom ordering requirements for customers and tracking inventory delivery.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with sales and procurement and accurately place orders for new trucks/equipment
  • Prepare and Transmits orders
  • Utilize company computer system to enter and track orders
  • Runs weekly inventory reports and confirms accuracy
  • Prepare purchase orders as needed
  • Prepare and process complex invoices
  • Submits credit requests
  • Monitor and respond to shared email and resolve issues related to orders and inventory
  • Conducts miscellaneous monthly/weekly reporting
  • Becomes familiar with and complies with the company’s Health & Safety Manual.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • One year certificate from college or business school preferred
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training;
  • Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge to process invoices and credits
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Strong excel skills and the ability to learn and use proprietary computer programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player, ability to respond to a variety of questions and concerns from a wide range of internal and external customers
  • Functions well with large volume and fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
