Prairiehome Colony School has approximately 23 students with a staff of 3. Prairiehome Colony School is located east of Wrentham (from the junction of highways 36 and 61, 16 km east on highway 61, north 0.5 km on range road 153).

Ideally, candidates will:

• be prepared to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions, and beliefs.
• have a positive attitude about children, learning, and schools.
• have a critical role in instruction under the supervision of the teacher.
• be able to work well independently, with the teacher, and with the school learning team
• Provide support to students on a 1:1 basis or with small group instruction.
• support English Language Learners in language acquisition (primarily in early literacy and numeracy)
