We are a fast-growing industrial metal building manufacturer seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Control project schedules and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget
• Set up and attend weekly client meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns or issues that arise
• Create and oversee quality control/assurance plans on a project basis
• Plan project resources, including personnel and materials, to ensure projects are completed efficiently
• Negotiate with vendors and draft purchase orders to ensure materials are delivered on schedule and at the best possible price
• Ensure projects comply with client and industry specifications, including building codes and safety regulations
• Interface with the design and engineering team to ensure all project requirements are met
• Interface with the production team to ensure all materials and resources are available when needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Experience with project management software.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
• Good understanding of general metal construction methods is an asset
• Good understanding of the NBC and BCBC
