Agilus is recruiting for a
Project Controls Analyst in the
Oil Refining Industry in
Sturgeon County, Alberta.
As a Project Controls Analyst you are responsible for providing support through a project's lifecycle. This includes monitoring cost and schedules as well as coordinating with planners and schedulers to support forecasting and budgeting.
A typical day:
- Review labour, equipment, and material forms (LEM’s) to ensure accuracy and request adjustments as necessary.
- Accountable for complete project cost and schedule documentation.
- Assist in the creation of purchase requisitions.
- Prepare schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis.
- Support project KPI tracking.
- Ensure full implementation of company processes and procedures as well as industry best practices with regards to project controls on projects following the company project stage gate process.
- Support the change control process, establishing the necessary forms, logs and expediting methods.
Successful candidates will have:
- 5+ years of project controls experience preferably in an industrial plant setting.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or PMP designation/working towards a PMP or equivalent experience working in project controls.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data to identify issues, concerns, and potential resolutions.
- Familiar with ERP system - preference given to those with Maximo experience.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge or MS Office Suite including Excel.
- Familiarity with MS Projects considered an asset.
- Must be a team player who is willing to continuously and proactively collaborate, share, and seek information and guidance.
