Responsibilities:

• First point of contact in escalation process for production
• Discuss challenges/escalations with production team and management
• Perform RMA assessments and repairs
• Work with Production Supervisor to determine root cause for off-target production KPIs and take action to resolve
• Implement continuous improvement projects from Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams
• Perform scheduled maintenance of equipment and update maintenance log
• Conduct CPAR activities within production

Education & Experience:

• Diploma in electrical engineering technology or equivalent preferred. Other relevant post-secondary certifications or equivalent experience may also be considered
• Minimum 3yr experience in a manufacturing plant
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and experience applying troubleshooting methods (e.g. root cause analysis, five whys, fishbone)
• Self-motivated ability to seek out information and knowledge required to perform job responsibilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, such as following up on issues and providing regular status updates to the team
• Experience working with, troubleshooting, soldering, and repairing electronic equipment
• Proficient with multi-tasking and managing priorities
• Proficient with computers and MS Office software
• Occupational first-aid certification considered an asset
• Experience working with an ERP system considered an asset
• Familiarity with ISO Standards and Management Systems including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 considered an asset
