Production Worker – Packager

Bay Growers, an apple packaging facility located in Clarksburg, ON, are looking for Production Workers to help with their packaging operations. Operators help perform a variety of tasks to ensure that the apples are graded, packaged, and prepared for shipping to customers across North America. Monday to Friday dayshift with no weekends. Wage starting at $18.50.

About The Role

Production workers will assist in the grading, sorting, packing, and shipping of a wide variety of apples. Using the latest technology to process and deliver apples down the line, workers can expect to perform the following tasks as required:

• Removing Off-Grade Apples from Processing Line
• Operating & Managing an Apple Bagging Machine
• Storing & Stacking Product on Skids for Shipping
• Informing Quality Assurance or Production Supervisor of any Abnormalities
• Assist in Maintaining a Clean Work Environment

Requirements

• Ability To Perform Repetitive Movements
• Production Experience Considered an Asset
• Ability to Lift Upwards of 50 Lbs.
• Forklift Experience an Asset – In-House Licensing Program Available

You may be a great fit for this position if you have previous experience in Agriculture, Production, General Labour, Construction, Shipping, or Warehouse positions.
