The Career Foundation is currently seeking a Physical Education Teacher on behalf of one of our employer partners.

• Working Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Salary/Wage: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Job Summary:

As a Physical Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of their students by inspiring them to lead active, healthy, and fulfilling lives. You will work collaboratively with their team of educators to develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that align with the Ontario curriculum and foster a love of physical activity.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement fun and engaging physical education lesson plans that align with the Ontario curriculum and meet the needs of all learners
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to promote student engagement and learning, such as games, activities, and sports
• Assess student learning and provide ongoing feedback to help them monitor their own progress and achieve their academic and personal goals
• Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment that supports the social-emotional well-being of all students
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to coordinate and integrate physical education with other subject areas and school-wide initiatives
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress and address any concerns or questions they may have

Requirements:

• You must be an OCT Registered teacher
• The ideal candidate has 3+ years of teaching experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (required)
• Licence/Certification: Ontario College of Teachers (required)
