Ashfield Engage is currently looking for an individual with people management and pharmaceutical industry experience thrives working in a dynamic head office environment to lead a team of Virtual Sales Representatives, reporting to the Director of Commercial Services. This is a hybrid role, with ability to work remotely or from head office, as per business needs and requirements.
Key Objectives:

  • Manage and lead fully remote virtual sales teams
  • Monitor Virtual Sales Representatives activity ensuring the quality and quantity of the calls meets client(s) expectations
  • Conduct regular individual and team coaching sessions to provide guidance and feedback on selling skills, product knowledge and target management
  • Utilize systems and technology to call quality monitor call activity and project progression
  • Identify development areas in skillset amongst the Virtual Sales Representatives and work to improve the individual’s capabilities through coaching, development and training plans
  • Manage Virtual Sales Team competencies and career progression through Ashfield Performance and Development Reviews
  • Main point of contact with the client, acting client account manager and liaison
  • Lead regular touchpoints with clients to provide program and rep performance updates, reports, client insights and recommendations
  • Conduct monthly and/or quarterly and/or yearly business reviews with clients
  • Act as a subject matter expert on remote team engagement, policies and procedures;
  • Manage resource allocation and optimization via collaboration with fellow managers and recruitment team
  • Participate in recruitment process by delivering requirements to HR, perform interviews and onboard and train new hires
  • Promote the Ashfield Values and lead by example

Job Holder Specification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Business or Science preferred)
  • Fluently Bilingual French and English (Oral and written)
  • 2-5 years pharmaceutical sales experience or 1-3 years people management experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, call center or customer service fields
  • A practical understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
  • Must have sales management, training or coaching experience
  • Previous client or project management experience is a strong asset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills; at ease working with and interpreting data
  • Solution-oriented, resourceful, and proven problem-solving skills
  • Team player, collaborator, ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Tech and digital savvy
  • Quick learner, ease with various systems and tech packages

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
