SURVEILLANCE OPERATOR – PART TIME

Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands is currently seeking a driven and energetic individual to join our team as a Part-time Surveillance Operator. This this position is responsible for monitoring interior and exterior areas of the property by closed circuit television cameras and maintaining visual records while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

· Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service

· Helps create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day

· Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalents transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access; reports violations to the Supervisor, Surveillance

· Maintains logs and records

· Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments

· Builds strong working relationships with guests and employees

· Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations

· Performs other duties as assigned or directed.

· Protection of company assets and patrons; both internal and external

· Protection of gaming integrity for GCGC and the province of Ontario

· Strict adherence to the Surveillance code of conduct and mandate

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

· People-focused and committed to service excellence

· Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed

· Secondary School Diploma

· Post-Secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience is considered an asset

· Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License
