BATTLE RIVER SCHOOL DIVISION is seeking applications for the following:
POSITION: Part-Time Temporary Teacher - 0.50 FTE
LOCATION: Chester Ronning School, Camrose, Alberta
INTENT: Next school year 2023-24, there is a need for a Part-Time Temporary Teacher (0.50) at Chester Ronning School to fill a leave. This position will include programming and instruction for a Kindergarten homeroom, commencing on August 29, 2023. The schedule for this position is to be determined but it will be for an alternating full-day Kindergarten program that will run Mondays and Wednesdays with alternating Fridays OR Tuesdays and Thursdays with alternating Fridays.
This position is open to Internal and External Candidates
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess knowledge of the ECS curriculum
- Have knowledge and / or experience in the areas of outcomes-based design, assessment for learning, differentiated instruction and inclusive learning environments
- Excel with technology and 21st century learning
- Be dynamic, energetic and passionate about working with students
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relational skills with students and be willing and able to collaborate with staff on a daily basis
- Possess excellent classroom management skills
- Indicate a willingness and ability to be involved in extracurricular activities and all aspects of the overall school program
