Part-Time Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic Part-Time Administrative Assistant to work from our Nisku office 20 hours per week during regular business hours as well as full-time vacation coverage. The primary purpose of this role it to provide support to the Operations team in our Nisku office. Performing various administrative activities and handling complex to routine data entry.

What you will do in this role:

  • Operate various office equipment, including computers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Work with various computer applications and software packages, including Microsoft Office, TMW, TMT and WorkHub.
  • Maintain accurate and current files and records for assigned areas of responsibility, including transportation.
  • Assist in developing and improving record- keeping within the database system.
  • Prepare and sort documents for data entry.
  • Assist with new hire safety training and orientation.
  • Shared responsibility for front desk reception duties.
  • Perform other related administrative duties as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum one year of administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of transportation administration, including recordkeeping requirements would be considered an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain a high level of speed and accuracy in preparing and entering information.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask while meeting set deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new processes.


Physical Requirements/Work Conditions:

  • Office environment includes long hours of sitting and using computers or office equipment.
  • Periodic light lifting of supplies, materials, files and file boxes.
