Job Summary

Reporting to the Delivery Help Desk Supervisor, the Order Desk Support position will participate in assisting all Canteen branches across Canada to maintain their daily delivery orders and invoices by updating the data base from which the billing is done in real-time. This is a remotely located, entry level position with opportunity to grow as the business develops.

As Order Desk Support, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring structured and unstructured requests from field personnel regarding data updates
  • Responding in real time to every request every day for your assigned area(s)
  • Understanding and escalating requests that are outside assigned help desk tasks
  • Maintaining customer and price plan records in SEED which is the national database for customer invoicing
  • Tracking and documenting workflow in a standard help desk ticket style
  • Continuous effort towards self-improvement regarding both product knowledge and business acumen to ensure highest level of customer service is met
  • Other duties as assigned


About you:

  • OCS experience is not necessary, but would be an asset
  • Accounts Receivable experience is not necessary but would be an asset
  • Microsoft experience with Outlook, Excel, and Teams/Sharepoint at an intermediate level is a must
  • Exceptional customer service skills both written and verbal
  • Must have a proactive approach and positive view of technology and automation
  • Problem solving skills needed to quickly assess requests and understand what action is required
  • Able to work remotely, either as optional or required if necessary, supervised and unsupervised
  • Available to cover shifts outside of your time zone – 7:00am EST to 5:00pm PST
  • Able to consistently multitask and react with composure to constantly changing priorities in this high pressure, fast paced, growing part of the business
