Ophthalmic/Eye Care Team Member Job at Kootenay Eye Physicians and Surgeons
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our health care team at our busy Ophthalmology practice. The successful candidates will work alongside the Ophthalmologists to provide high-quality patient care for patient screening and pretesting.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Manage patient records.
- Ensure that medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure that patient care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Taking patient medical history.
- Checking visual acuities and IOP.
- Pupil assessment.
- Administering eye drops.
- Performing visual field testing.
- Obtaining OCT images.
- Obtaining fundus photos.
- Performing IOL measurements.
- Greet patients and visitors.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer and typing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
