Network Consultant
Looking for a candidate with a good understanding networking concepts, networking equipment such as switches and firewalls, operating systems, virtual machines, application architectures, database skills, programming skills (as a background skill). Someone with experience with network architecture and cyber security concepts.
* Network deficiency/Audit analysis
* Review of network design
* Cyber security knowledge
* Create and understand business requirements as per stakeholders and clients
* Modify and Develop documentation for compliance to Industry Standards and industry best practice's
*Must a have great attention to detail
Hybrid model - 2 days onsite in Langley and 3 days remote
Other duties may include
- Perform quarterly reviews of authorized and provisioned user’s access to IT systems
- Perform monthly patching ( Win Server VMs, workstations etc)
- Apply security controls and prepare evidence documentation
- Configure network devices and apply passwords using device instructions
- Prepare data communication lists and requirements for firewall configurations
- Work with ticketing system to record changes and documentation
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
