Member and Student Experience Specialist (Contract) Job at CPA Ontario

(12-month contract)
CPA Ontario is currently in search of a contract Member and Student Experience Specialist who will be responsible for driving member and student engagement, organizing events, managing day-to-day logistics while contributing directly to member and student programs as well as supporting the experience strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Contributing to the member experience strategy and driving engagement through the creation and ownership of work-back schedules and project timelines for large-scale digital program events, coordination of member marketing and communication, networking opportunities/platforms, and championing member and student experience on cross-functional projects.
Managing the Member and Student Affinity and Benefits program including the Job Board Digital Platform.
Supporting the Community of Interest (COIs) Strategy and program by overseeing the awards nomination process for key COIs, creating networking opportunities, evolving the Not-for-Profit Board program and creating an ecosystem to share key COI data insights to the membership to support their journey.
Researching new premium benefits in order to provide value to our members and students as well as supporting the current benefit program portfolio.
Supporting day to day management of the Member and Student Assistance Program including communication strategy, annual mental health event and other wellness based initiatives.
Who You Are:
A post-secondary graduate with a university degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline. A CPA member or an understanding of the CPA program would be an asset.
Skilled at supporting programs for clients or members in a regulatory, professional services, educational or membership environment; a minimum of 3 years’ related experience is preferred.
Technically savvy and comfortable working with Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook and Teams; experience with Salesforce or other CRM is preferred.
Able to demonstrate a strong business and financial acumen, experience supporting a budget, working with data, setting KPIs and interpreting insights.
A strong verbal communicator with excellent interpersonal, active listening and public-speaking abilities and a commitment to providing a premium member and student experience.
A diligent fact-checker with an eye for accuracy and detail with superior written communication skills, strong English grammar, punctuation, and proof-reading abilities.
Able to work with diverse member populations, exercise tact and diplomacy while building and nurturing relationships with ease.
Experienced at collaborating in a team environment but also able to work independently on projects requiring organizational, multi-tasking, time management, and priority setting skills.
Able to set up a home office for remote work purposes and willing to travel occasionally within the local area to attend networking events in person.
