We are currently seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our Saskatoon Manufacturing Plant. Materials Coordinator are hardworking, positive and eager team members that work within a team responsible for providing detailed manufacturing schedules to meet production schedule, quality, inventory, cost and delivery objectives.

In your role you will:

  • Plan manufacturing orders from the master production schedule to meet shipping requirements, by means of capacity planning, the detailed planning and release of manufacturing work orders, and subcontract orders
  • Schedule, contact and expedite parts from internal work centers. Work with production supervisor to develop and implement contingency plans and keep management advised of actions being taken.
  • Perform lot sizing and load levelling solutions to achieve efficient and effective workflow, minimize material handling, and reduce total costs. When required to recommend subcontracting.

The Qualified Candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management.
