In order to continue the growth of our group, Katoen Natie Specialty Chemicals Inc. (USA) is looking for a Management Trainee in La Porte, TX.

Responsibilities

The chosen Management Trainee will have an intensive training period characterized by hands-on assignments in various fields of activities (i.e. packaging, warehousing, logistics, and distribution) where problem solving and troubleshooting skills will be required. After a successful training period, the trainee will be assigned a managerial position at a Katoen Natie facility in the US.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree required

· Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel

· Ability to create or complete brief, but relevant reports, statistics and graphs

· Bilingual in French is a plus

· Persistent / dynamic personality

· Good people skills / team player

· Leads by example

· Strong analytical

· May travel nationally and internationally and stay abroad for the training phase

Requirements

· Must be currently able to work legally in the Canada

· Able to be mobile in the work environment and provide own method of transportation

· Must be able to read, write and speak the English language

· Ability to perform all basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

· Ability to perform physical activities that require lifting, walking, and stooping. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Stand and perform work duties for an extended period of time.

· Ability to handle up to 85 decibels of noise while working in the Warehouses due to heavy machinery and rolling equipment, all according to OSHA permissible exposure limit

· Close vision (clear vision at 20” or less), Color vision (Identify and distinguish colors), and Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area while eyes are fixed on a given point.)

· Work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to the needs of the business.
