Millwright Job Summary:

The primary duties will include daily repairs, scheduled preventative maintenance and installation of new equipment.

Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation (including cannabis).

Job Responsibilities:

• Investigate mechanical and electrical issues and develop corrective action plans
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment
• Interpretation of blueprints, diagrams and schematics
• Install and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Operation of basic machine tools (lathe, drill press, etc.)
• Use of welding equipment, hand tools and power tools
• Complete required preventative maintenance and documentation
• Help to ensure a minimal amount of machine downtime
• Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Regulations

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Valid Industrial Millwright 433A C of Q
• Minimum of 3 years related experience
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Plan, schedule and prioritize effectively in conjunction with production and management
• Proven Understanding of a “Safety First working methodology”

Rate of Pay: $37.00/hr. Hourly compensation is based on the current collective agreement.

Shift: STRAIGHT DAYS.
