Job Title: Long Term Care - Administrator (Senior Management)

Westgate Lodge is a 73 bed LTC Home, located in Belleville.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services and a safe and respectful environment for residents and staff.
  • Responsible to manage the home within budgetary requirements
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and positive interaction with residents, families, staff, and management.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Responsible for ensuring an environment that empowers and supports staff - leading by example
  • Works with the homes management team and the corporate team to achieve goals and priorities of the home and organization
  • Excellent clinical and assessment skills, competent ability to develop a plan, implement and evaluate

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be registered as a Registered Nurse with the CNO and in good standing
  • Must have Long-Term Care Homes Administrator's certification or be enrolled in the program
  • Must understand the compliance requirements under the Fixing Long-Term Care Act and be able to guide and direct staff to ensure compliance
  • Experience working in Long Term Care preferred
  • At least 3 years Management experience preferred
  • Experience with collective agreements
  • Knowledge and understanding of IPAC, Fire and Emergency Safety, OHSA requirements

Monday to Friday position, however, to support the needs of the home - flexibility of hours is required. On call requirement.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $110,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Must have at least two COVID vaccinations and comply with the homes COVID vaccination policy. Must adhere to COVID protocols including hand hygiene and wearing of mask, testing requirements.
