Overview
Creating an excellent culinary experience starts with the leadership of our Kitchen Manager. They are someone with great attention to details, passion for food and a positive energy in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team while embodying our Mission, Vision & Values
- Immediately respond to issues and situations with solutions and/or redirection
- Ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently, safely and in alignment with AHS regulations
- Ensure processes and systems are followed, assess opportunities for improvement
- Prepare meals ensuring a high quality of standards for every dish
- Complete food and supply orders (sourcing, ordering, food-costing, inventory and budget management)
- Maintain up to date food-costing and recipes
- Create and manage kitchen schedule
- Manage staff (needs, discipline, appreciation, promotion)
- Onboard and train new kitchen staff
- Run errands as required
- Attend meetings as required
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous kitchen management experience
- Proficiency in restaurant computer systems such as TouchBistro, 7 Shifts, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to act promptly
- Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Strong team player who isn’t afraid to show appreciation and give support to fellow staff members
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs
- Highly dependable and available to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, weekends)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: From $45,000.00 per year

- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Airdrie, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
