About us

We are a fully implemented Kindergarten Program looking for a recognized Alberta Certified Teacher who holds a Bachelor of Education and is at least Interim Certified to join our diverse, talented, and professional team. You will be responsible for the kindergarten children and team teaching with the other teachers to ensure that all expectations are met that have been laid out within the Alberta Education Curriculum.

Kindergarten Classes - The Kindergarten teacher will hold a Kindergarten class both morning (8:30am to 11:30am) and afternoon (12:30pm to 3:30pm) at our Medicine Hat campus. Experience with Kindergarten, or grade one children is an asset. Must have a Bachelor of Education and hold an Interim or Permanent Alberta Certificate. If you do not have Early Childhood Education training you must be willing to obtain it through our professional development program.

The successful candidate will have a love of learning that they will role model and mentor to their young students. They will display a warm, professional, and happy demeanor and be willing to work and contribute as a team member. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Alberta Education curriculum and planning skills to meet the goals and outcomes, and strong positive leadership.

Job Types: Full-time/Part-time Salary: Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement and Locally Negotiated Teacher Agreement. Fixed term contract Contract length: 10 months Schedule:

6 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday.
