Journeyman/woman Mechanic Job at Super Save Disposal
Super Save Group has an opportunity available for safety minded mechanics to be part of our Maintenance Team.
Duties include maintenance, repairs, and diagnosis of trucks, trailers, and forklifts including hydraulic and electrical systems. As well, as knowledge and involvement in disassembling and re-assembling all components of heavy equipment.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3rd year to Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification
- Work on hydraulic systems considered an asset
- Experience in the disposal industry
- Class 5 Driver’s License
- Basic computer skills
- A strong command of the English language ( written and verbal)
In this Role responsibilities include:
- Support company policies and procedures regarding, health and safety, and scheduled maintenance programs.
- Diagnosing various equipment for malfunctions and faults
- Cleaning, lubricating and maintaining equipment
- Interpreting work orders and manuals
- Writing service reports.
- Ensure all work performed meets manufacturers’ specifications and legislated regulations.
