Job Summary

An excellent senior opportunity for a dedicated professional at a 2022 Top Work Unit

The Ministry of Finance plays a key role in establishing, implementing and reviewing government’s economic, fiscal, financial management and taxation policies. The Information Systems Branch (ISB) is responsible for the leadership, management, planning and provision of information technology services to Provincial Treasury.

This role will provide business analysis/consulting services and plan ongoing business and technology needs consistent with government and ministry strategic plans, system standards and interfacing requirements. It will provide expert advice to senior staff and leads multiple project teams.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field.
  • Experience providing business analysis on high risk projects, including management of financial and human resources.

About this Position:
This position can be based in any of the following Ministry of Finance offices: Cranbrook, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John, Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Penticton, Prince George, Surrey, Victoria, and Vancouver
An eligibility list may be established.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week as per the Telework Agreement.
Occasional travel to Victoria may be required.
