The Hughson Group is a Kingston based company that specializes in road side safety products, barrier wall and noise walls, overhead sign foundation, drilling and fencing. As the industry continues to thrive, we are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to help with daily onsite tasks. As a Heavy Equipment Operator your wage will be based on your experience.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operate a variety of equipment, from skid steers to large excavators on site as per supervisor's direction
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks prior to operating equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
The right person for the job must have:
- Experience working around existing utility infrastructure
- Ability to work safely in a high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to follow directions from supervisor and work with crews effectively
