What will I be doing?

You will participate in a 1 year program aimed at developing new talent leadership within Manulife. You will join a cohort of new employees and engage in a dedicated training program related to 3 key focus areas customer experience, data analytics, process assessment and design . The program will offer dedicated hands-on experience to support your training and you’ll be aligned appropriate leadership to mentor and provide support as you navigate through your first year with Manulife.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Using your analytical skills and critical thinking to ask questions, understand our Business drivers and needs, and bring order and precision to scope and requirements on initiatives.

  • Capitalizing on your ability to build and foster positive, effective relationships to strengthen your partnership with key stakeholders.

  • Use the training you’ve gained and apply them appropriately – data mining, analysis and visualization, process assessment, root cause assessment, prioritization, presentations of your analysis

  • Delivering documented solution requirements so that everyone has a clear and consistent understanding of the proposed solution.

  • Using your strong communication skills to lead meetings and present information to all levels within the company.

  • Preparing our business partners for changes that are introduced and articulating what it will mean for them specifically.

  • Using your problem-solving skills and sound judgement to make business decisions that drive results and solve customer problems.

  • Influencing your teammates with your good humor and passion for your role!

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program studying Accounting, Finance, Analytics or a related major, and graduating in 2023
