Job Purpose and Impact

The Grain Marketing Associate will, with guidance from a Grain Marketing Advisor, help sell the company's portfolio of technical and nontechnical products, services and solutions directly to current and new customers. In this role, you will develop an understanding of business, financials, products and services, the market or the needs and challenges of assigned accounts. Key Accountabilities

Inform customers of our new products, services and prices.
Build, monitor and revise lead generation plans to develop substantive sales opportunities.
Help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.
Build, develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experienced in or Interest in learning the Canadian grain industry, agricultural production and farm management.
Possess a valid Canadian Full Class 5 Driver’s Licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment.
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada. Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in the agricultural industry.
Comprehension of Risk Management Tools.
Consulting and value-based selling experience.
Familiar with commodity markets and/or financial markets.
Position Information

Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
This position will require to work onsite 2 days a week and 3 days traveling through the territory.
