We are Gray Ridge Egg Farms Inc., and we are looking for the right candidate to welcome into our Afternoon Shift Production Team. Our Listowel facility is a state of the art, HACCP certified egg grading station. Together, by hard work and innovation, Gray Ridge Egg Farms has been feeding the families of Ontario since 1934. As a member of our Afternoon Shift Production Team, you will play a direct role in processing farm fresh eggs for our customers. Qualifications:

• Shift is Monday to Friday, 3:15pm-11:45pm plus overtime when necessary to fulfill customer orders.

· Understanding of manufacturing processes an asset, but we will train.

· WHMIS, HACCP and first aid training are an asset, but we will train.

· Experience with electronic inventory an asset, but we will train.

· Attention to detail.

· Willingness to work overtime.

· Work as part of a team, and alone.

· Experience with power equipment is an asset, but we will train.

· Lifting: up to 60 lbs. Egg crates, pallets, and other packaging materials.

· Ability to read English a must.

· Company benefits upon the successful completion of a three month probationary period.

HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL

· Work in compliance with divisional and legislative health, safety and environmental procedures

· Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods

· Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts

· Report defect in any equipment or protective device

· Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks

· Participate in all required health, safety and environmental training

· Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor

· Assist in investigating accidents/incidents

· Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct

Full time hours: 40 hours per week
