Requirements/Qualifications: Ability to understand computer software programs, store procedures and policies1-2 years of prior retail or industry related experience is beneficial. Willingness to learn and expand with company developments .Ability to work cooperatively in team atmosphere .Maintain a positive attitude, while executing excellent customer service and communication skills . Ability to lift 50 pounds on a daily basis.*Duties/Responsibilities: Candidate must have great organizational skills as they will be required to maintain our stock room in good working order .Unload our trucks bi-weekly and assist our store receiver. The ability to be trained on propane filling is required. Actively seek out and offer a friendly greeting throughout the entire store. Ask open ended questions to be able to determine their needs and find a solution that the customer finds satisfaction with.*Be enthusiastic with the customer and show compassion when appropriate to do so.*When possible, bring customer to the product regardless of what department.*Thank the customer, not the other way around.*Complete additional duties as assigned by management.*Willing to participate in seminars, webinars, training sessions and meetings as required to expand your knowledge.*Complete all Health and Safety Training required by government and company regulations*Work in a safe manner in accordance to all safety legislation.*Report any potential hazards and unsafe working environment to management in order to have it corrected .If helping people comes to you as naturally as smiling, then this may be the position for you. Hours during our busy season is 8-4 Monday - Friday and 12- 8 when we are in our slower season . We are currently entering our busy season.
