Position Description:

We are seeking to hire an experienced frontend developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building web applications using React, Redux, and Redux-persist. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is familiar with Material UI components and has experience working with REST APIs and integrating them with UI.

This is a full-time remote-first position, with team member hubs in Toronto and Montreal but the team is distributed throughout the Americas. It is crucial that you are self-motivated to seek out problems and solutions and comfortable taking initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, Redux, and Redux-persist
• Utilize Material UI components library to create responsive and visually appealing layouts
• Integrate with REST APIs and backend data pipelines
• Work with the backend team to troubleshoot and optimize API performance
• Collaborate with the team to identify and solve technical problems
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and documentation
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in frontend technologies

Requirements:

• Strong experience with React, Redux, and Redux-persist
• Familiarity with Material UI components
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating them with UI
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation

Ether Capital offers a competitive compensation package. Compensation will vary depending on the level of expertise of the candidate.
