Do you have what it takes? We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 1 year of professional front-end development.
  • Well-developed skills with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, and Node.
  • Deep experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as ReactJS.
  • Ability to rapidly prototype and adjust in response to customer feedback.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development.
  • Drive to meet and beat targets, metrics and goals, where logging aggregation intelligence or UX monitoring (ie. Data Dog or Sentry) is common practice.
  • Drive to grow your transferable engineering knowledge i.e. preparing design documents or working with clouds like AWS.
  • Constant motivation to achieve your goals and nothing can stop you, and you are constantly motivated to beat them.
  • The type of person to set new records and whose career goal is to be a generalist engineer.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience building scalable, distributed, front-end experiences
  • Experience building reusable UX components or libraries
  • An understanding of how to optimize the delivery of code and assets to a browser or device
  • Proficiency in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns. Knows when (and when not) to use front-end software design patterns.
  • Ability to decompose a problem into clear software and UX design actions.
  • Ability to articulate the benefits and challenges of depending on front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets.
