Essential Job Functions:


  • Provide coaching and compliance monitoring to officers in the field, focusing on sites that do not have regular supervision.
  • Possess thorough understanding of work sites and respond to questions and concerns from staff.
  • Provide timely and informative feedback to management regarding performance in the field.
  • Maintain active lines of communication between operations and management and accurately report appropriate concerns and issues.
  • Provide site training for last minute/emergency officer placement
  • Provide support for short-term contracts/special events.
  • Be available to respond to afterhours emergencies.
  • Ensure all Paladin staff are adhering to relevant Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation and site-specific safety guidelines, and that staff have reviewed and understand Paladin’s OH&S policies and procedures.
  • Review and assist with site OH&S inspection report, risk assessments and site orientations.
  • Advise management on training requirements.
  • Ensures proper onboarding and training are provided to newly hired staff and that newly trained staff are able to demonstrate an acceptable level of site knowledge.
  • Monitor and respond to after-hours shift book offs, missed book on/off using our TEAM software.
  • Monitor and respond to Lone Worker check calls.
  • Other duties as required from time to time.

The Field Supervisor is a liaison between Paladin frontline staff and the management team. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, highly organized individual who excels at building relationships and is able to effectively navigate between the lines to identify root causes and present solutions. He or she will be responsible for supporting the management team in delivering high quality security services to all Paladin clients while ensuring that Paladin staff are properly supported and are able to succeed in performing their roles and responsibilities.


Required Qualifications:


  • Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven leadership skills complimented by a strong understanding of Paladin’s core values and culture.
  • Be able to manage own schedule and perform duties consistently under minimum supervision.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office Suite) and organizational skills.
  • Ability to trouble shoot basic computer/program issues.
  • Able to perform consistently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License
  • Provide a recent Driver’s abstract
