AutoPlanet Brampton is looking for a detail oriented Executive Assistant to join their dynamic team.

The Executive Assistant is primarily responsible to provide direct support to the General Manager in providing administrative support, clerical and operational support in their day-to-day responsibilities.

About you.

You will join a team dedicated to working cohesively together with the General Manager and supporting the operations of the dealership. You are results driven, proficient in accounting/profit and loss statements, able to translate reports, fast-learner, have a passion for automotive, able to multitask, maintain high levels of professionalism as well as strong organizational skills, and have an extensive background in customer service.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

  • Utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the General Manager.
  • Manage daily calendar including scheduling of meetings and booking events
  • Organize, plan and present meetings and events.
  • Process paperwork and filling.
  • Exercise full discretion and confidentiality with client and company information.
  • Demonstrate utmost professionalism in the performance of duties.
  • Ability to work in adherence to company safety standards at all times.
  • Comply with all company policies, standards and procedures.
  • Perform other related administrative tasks as required by management.

What you need to succeed:

  • A diploma or degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • Must have valid Class ‘G’ Ontario driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
  • Minimum of 3 years of customer service and administrative experience is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills; experience with Google sheets is considered an asset.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine interest in people and in helping others, knowledge of the work and of the organization.
  • Ability to translate financial reports.
  • Proficient in Accounting/Profit and loss statements.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive or Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be proficient with spreadsheet and reports
  • Must possess telephone etiquette; ability to stay calm when callers are irate.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be team oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Personable, reliable, courteous.
  • Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.

***This income range will be based on knowledge and experience***

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
