Canadian Executive Search Group (USA), a division of Arrow Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening for Sales Director in Transportation in Burlington, Canada

Location: Burlington, Canada
Shift: Full-time Day Shift 8am-5pm
Start: ASAP - FULL TIME
Pay Rate: $ 70K-$120K 8% Commission on paid invoices

Work schedule Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm Friday work from home or Flexible with work from home depending on experience.

Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record exceeding quota, a strong understanding of consultative and strategic selling concepts, and develops and implements value-based initiatives to differentiate, build customer loyalty and drive profitable revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Building a book of repeat business and generating quality sales through networking, cold-calling prospects, and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy
  • Prospecting for companies that ship freight within North America and cross border (Canada-USA, USA-Canada, Mexico-USA ,Mexico-Canada)
  • Recording all opportunities and communications using our TMW and sales automation platform
  • Driving sales and achieving strategic objectives; Pro-actively managing a sales pipeline and developing a strategy for long-term sustained success
  • Creating sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities, and documenting sales methodology
  • Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals and requests for quotations
  • Preparing presentations and delivering to prospective clients
  • Actively participating in sales meetings and reporting on sales goals, forecasting, and wins;
  • Utilize inside sales knowledge.
  • Support carrier reps with the coordination of transportation freight in a cost-effective manner.
  • Schedule pick-up and delivery appointment times.
  • Communicate effectively with customers,
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.
  • Communicate customer problems to management
  • Develop, execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Build customer base with target margins

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Working knowledge of with TMW software
  • Have a Book of Business of 20-40k margin/per month
  • Competitive “Hunter” personality
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Customer & solution-focused approach
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt easily to different and sometimes stressful situations
  • Experience with C-suite is an asset
  • Energetic, Hard Working, Entrepreneurial, Accountable and Pro-Active
  • Problem-solving skills to be able to propose solutions that meet & exceed the customers’ business needs
  • 2-3 years of experience in transportation Brokerage 3/PL
  • Proven track record in sales in transportation/logistics (3PL preferred)
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and disciplined
  • Highly motivated self-starter Outgoing personality; high energy
  • Flexible Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun
