Day Warehouse Worker Job at Centennial Foodservice
Warehouse Worker (Richmond, BC)
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Worker will include but will not be limited to:
- Operate pallet jack and forklift counterbalance stand up (asset but will train the right candidate)
- All work is to be performed in a cooler and or freezer
- Pick product from the distribution area; pull product; pack boxes; place order in staging area
- Receive product and verify its contents, labelling of boxes
- Check and inspect the conditions of items and materials while loading and unloading
- Count and stock product; sort and place product or items on racks, shelves to organizational standards
- Pack orders in an orderly manner and prepare for shipping
- Check and identify numbers and labels on assigned items and materials
- Provide quality service by following organization standards
- Preserve safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
- Promote clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Qualifications
- Previous work experiences an asset but not required
- Forklift Certification an asset
- Training provided
- Must be able to lift boxes weighing 50 lbs. or more
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
