We are looking for people who love the outdoors, work outside, and are great at hospitality. We are seeking a reliable, dependable, and adventurous person with outdoor and outgoing spirits, for our Jacques Cartier Rental Attendant position.

Ideally, you have experience with water sports (specifically kayaking & paddle boarding), an ability to multi-task, and the ability to work with others while still creating a fun, yet safe, environment. You can speak both French and English.

Successful candidates will need to be able to operate a digital POS system and collect payments from clients, independently open and close the operation, and keep the site clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (other languages would be an asset)
• Have great customer service and communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality
• Must be able to perform a variety of physical tasks in a variety of weather conditions including, sun, wind, and rain at times
• Must be able to work with diverse populations in a supportive and positive manner and tactfully handle conflict situations
• Not be afraid of hard work, getting their hands dirty, or keeping busy – Keeping watercraft clean and running is a big part of the job!
• Must be comfortable teaching people who have varying levels of experience in different outdoor activities
• Be available weekdays and weekends between the hours of 8AM & 8PM – This includes ALL holidays. If you can’t work holidays, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing 65 pounds and be able to do physical work
• Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods
• Have reliable transportation,
• Be able to follow instructions and comply with ALL company safety standards
