Job Title: Countertop Installer Assistant
Location: Port Coquitlam, various job sites in Metro Vancouver / Lower Mainland
Terms: Permanent, Full-time
Salary/Rate: $22-$30/hr, based upon experience, performance, and productivity
Requirements: Monday to Friday – 6am to 2:30pm; Valid Driver’s license

To maintain the highest quality and to provide timely service, we pride ourselves with producing everything in-house and installing our product with our own installation teams. We have been growing at a hectic pace and have now moved to a new
13,000 sq ft facility.

About The Role:
The Countertop Installer Assistant Ideally will have residential construction experience in custom homes and multi-family developments, preferably installing countertops or cabinets. The ideal candidate is mechanically competent using a variety of tools such as grinders, saws, seamers, silicones and adhesives, and other handheld tools.
The installer assistant will be expected to travel daily, either independently or with the installer to a range of jobsites during the workday and work week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Installer as required
• Ability to follow direction and be teachable
• Cut and/or grind stone to size as needed on job site
• Ensures vehicle is clean and all tools and equipment are neatly organized
• Performs daily preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
• Ensures a clean and safe work area during and after installation
• Able to lift heavy weights with frequent bending and carrying
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 2-5 years’ experience in countertop and/or cabinet installation is preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail, aesthetics and quality is an asset
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Able to perform strenuous physical work in a variety of environmental conditions
• Work efficiently and effectively with colleagues as well as able to work independently
