Location: Toronto (GTA) Ontario, Canada or Remote Department: Sales Reports To: Director of Sales, Canada

• 
  Play a key role in shaping and defining Dot Foods Canada value proposition in the retail channel
• Conduct headquarters calls to facilitate growth with retail accounts.
• Work with manufacturers and brokers in the retail industry to educate them on our value, including promoting our supplier’s availability to all retailers.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and management teams, both internal and external to increase service level and customer satisfaction.
• Work with assigned customers to adhere to Dot’s customer policies, solve various supply chain issues, and process customer deductions.
• Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

• Travel – Occasional overnight travel required (5-7 nights per month) for industry meetings and trainings. Ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train for customer/vendor calls, training, or meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable Dot experience
• Minimum of five years’ successful outside sales experience
• Experience presenting to large and small groups
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to navigate and resolve complex supply chain problems and create positive outcomes.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, including planning and follow-up.
• Ability to impact and influence customers at the senior management level throughout the decision-making process
• Demonstrated aptitude in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
