THE ROLE

Boom is currently hiring a Project manager which will be a position based out of Crossfield.

Must have Mechanical or Pipeline Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from tender award to completion
• Overall project management for site crew
• Manage financial aspects of contracts, including progress billings prepared and submitted in a timely manner
• Ensure budgets and forecasts are completed on time, consistent and accurate
• Manage employee / subcontractor related documentation
• Mentor, train and monitor performance of personnel reporting directly to you
• Prepare, review and track project paperwork
• Complete and submit various internal reporting
• Update and maintain equipment related documentation
• Maintain and / or create various tracking documents
• Provide support to business development efforts with existing clients and assisting with exploring new opportunities
• Follow Boom procedures and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of Project Management experience
• Thorough knowledge of heavy equipment and its functions
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to prioritize based on deadlines
• Able to adapt to changing environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
• Strong computer skills
