Tango Delta Rentals has an immediate opening for a Full-Time WIFI and Communications Field Technician in our following operating areas Rocky Mountain House and Edson, Alberta.

We are seeking an employee with a strong work ethic and good character to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Set up and rig out our communications and surface rental equipment on remote job sites.
• Make visual inspections of equipment to identify, troubleshoot and correct issues.
• Assist with routine repair and maintenance on equipment.
• Defensive driving and pulling trailers from time to time.
• Assist in providing training for less experienced personnel.
• Respond to service or emergency inquiries.
• Keep records and logs of operations, update information for reporting purposes.
• Establish positive working relationships with 3rdparty personnel on remote job sites.
• Participate in safe work practices, training and development.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Drivers License with acceptable drivers abstract.
• Valid H2S Alive.
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR.
• Ability to hail a trailer an asset.
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO) an asset.
• Must have steel toed work boots.
• Adhere to Centurion policies and fit for work.
• Use safe work practices.
• Work both shop and field days.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Moderate physical strength and stamina. Lift up to 50lbs.
• Lifting, pulling, standing, bending and crouching for extended periods.
• Ability to commute or relocate.
• May perform work in adverse weather conditions including heat, cold and inclement weather.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to create alternative solutions to problems.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High level of sound and independent judgement and reasoning.
• Travel to the site, and off-site locations will be required.
• Communicate via text, phone and radio.

Experience in one or more of the following an asset:

• Communications (cellular and internet systems, and computer networking)
• Oilfield Experience
• General equipment maintenance
• Customer service
• Physical labour
