ABOUT THE JOB
The CNC Programmer creates models and develops applications using techniques to control computer numerical control (CNC, TCN, EDM). Do you have the right training?
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze the product to manufacture according to the client’s plans and specifications
- Select the sequences required to manufacture parts and cutting tools based on the type of machine and materials
- Help create fixtures
- Create 2D and 3D models based on customer requirements
- Create manufacturing programs based on the type of machine (3, 4, 5 axes) in line with the estimate
- Support production by creating assembly sheets and installation drawings and offer technical assistance to the production department as needed
- Work with other departments to achieve quality objectives
- Take part in the tender process
- Perform tasks in line with the company’s vision, principles and code of ethics
- Apply and comply with the company’s safety rules and quality policy and system

OUR REQUIREMENTS
College degree in mechanical engineering or diploma of vocational studies in machining techniques and attestation of vocational specialization in digital control, or equivalent training- Experience in numerical control programming (CNC, TCN, EDM) in a machined parts manufacturing plant (in the aerospace industry an asset)
- Knowledge of aluminium and exotic materials such as stainless steel, titanium and Inconel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Proficiency with programming tools, such as Catia V5 and Vericut
- Ability to work under pressure on tight deadlines
- Proactive, attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work methodically
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Bilingual - English and French
