What will you work on?

Serve as Client Service Representative for Scopes of Work and programs. Provide support for response to sponsor requests. Partner with all Client Services, scientific, and financial staff to ensure quality customer service is provided and proposals are submitted in a timely manner. We are currently looking for a Client Service Representative for our safety assessment site located in Boisbriands, Qc.

The following are the responsibilities related to the position:
  • Work with BD and Scientific to qualify bids and scopes of work with sponsors to ensure appropriate service is provided
  • Follow up with clients to ensure that proposals are complete and answer their needs
  • Develop and/or review Statements of Work (SOWs) for accuracy
  • Pricing responsibilities – ensure accuracy and completeness of prices (working within the pricing policy). Try to maximize revenues where possible by justifying prices.
  • Understand and follow the quote process
  • Assist management in making recommendations on desirable proposals based on established financial and operational criteria, as required
  • Review and approve bid and proposal packages within authorized limits
  • Ensure all required legal documents are in place (CDA, MSA)
  • Interact with scheduling to identify the dates for study initiation and assist with rescheduling studies, as needed
  • Assist with updating and maintaining applicable databases
  • Assist with client visits, including giving company tours and presentations
  • Actively participate in revenue and sales (backlog) management to meet budget
  • Follow up on outstanding change orders to ensure they are received in a timely manner
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Who are we looking for?

The following are minimum qualifications related to the position:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent in science
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Capable of working with a minimum of supervision. Ability to work effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks, and effectively prioritize based on departmental goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Understanding of business/sales process required.
