Summary of Responsibilities

• Pre-trips equipment daily and reports as per company and industry requirements
• Loads required product with CAT loaders
• Delivers multiple loads daily
• Communicates with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning and supply pickup from one of our reload sites
• Laisse with clients on site as required ensuring satisfaction of delivery
• Collects payments as required

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver’s license - must be able to reliably operate a standard Class 1 vehicle
• B-Train experience
• C-Train experience an asset
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Proficient in English
• Ability to focus attention on details of the job and maintain an efficient pace
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work long hours
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Must present a professional appearance
• Must be able to undergo random drug and alcohol testing as well as pre-employment testing
• Tipper, Low Bedding and Reloader Experience

Physical Aspects of Position

• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Ascending and descending ladders
• Shoveling material around prior to rolling tarp over load

Safety Sensitive Position

This position is deemed as a Safety Sensitive position and will require negative result for pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing in order to complete offer of employment for anyone who will be operating heavy equipment or company vehicles. Please note that the pre-employment testing includes screening for all forms of marijuana.

This position is deemed as a Safety Sensitive position and will require negative result for pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing in order to complete offer of employment for anyone who will be operating heavy equipment or company vehicles. In addition, Denbow is a Federally Regulated company, and due to our cross-border business is also bound by DOT Regulations. As all Denbow drivers could be scheduled to take a load across the border at any time, all of our drivers are required to be able to pass random drug on an ongoing basis to comply with these regulations.
