Canfor Pulp is currently seeking summer students to join our amazing team for the 2023 Summer Term from May 23 to September 1. We are looking for candidates who are interested in a growth opportunity in a production environment who will train in various areas of the mill site. Could we be looking for you?

You are a self-starter with a notable positive attitude. You analyze and troubleshoot and can work in a safe and efficient manner. You have effectively mastered the art of interaction and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

As a summer student, you may be working the warehouses, steam plant, or in the wood yard. Daily duties may include driving forklift, lawn maintenance, sweeping floors, shoveling, clean up, and assisting with inventory management. There will also be some heavy lifting involved while working the production line so you must be able to do at least three push-ups (we’ll just take your word on this requirement). Shift work is part of the gig and you must be able to work in an environment that may include exposure to heights, dust, weather, chemicals, moving mechanical parts and noise.

To be eligible to apply, you are attending an educational institution full time during the 2023 academic year and are registered for a program which leads to a recognized degree or diploma.
