This exciting opportunity

The Procurement function provides the main interface between the company and the supply base, developing and building strong relationships and driving process improvements. The team support sales through the management of a global supply base in line with defined business parameters helping to maintain the company as a market leader in supply chain management.

About you:

You will need to:

• Manage the day-to-day contractual relationship with the vendors to build long-term rapport and ensure the lowest cost of acquisition, balancing cost with the company inventory holding requirements to maximize business profitability.
• Adhere to all policies and regulations in relation to product sourcing, governed either by legislation, customer specific / contractual requirements, company policies or technical controls to ensure on time delivery and quality can be met.
• Operate efficient working practices for the sourcing of ad-hoc customer requirements at the best commercial terms in order to meet delivery and commercial timescales and targets.

What will you also need?

Great communication skills both written and oral, ability to negotiate and reach agreement, ability to effectively priorities and work to deadlines

Experience in Strategic Contracts, Long term contracts Negotiations, Strategic Sourcing Analysis, Excel Proficiency and AS400
