Business Systems Analyst
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst focusing on project leadership for major software system implementations and resulting business process and transformation objectives. Working closely with City business units and external solutions, this role evaluates the effectives of business processes, provides advice to implement complex information systems, and provides support to users.
Acts as project lead working collaboratively in the implementation of approved information systems, documents requirements and draft specifications, advises on methodology for implementing conversions, documents business process and workflows, coordinates transitioning from testing to production phases; monitors and manages post-implementation change and assists end users as they transition and adapt to new systems and processes. The role will also include making configuration changes to business applications as necessary and performing regular system patching and upgrades
Candidates will have completed a diploma program in computer systems, plus considerable related experience in an integrated information technologies environment including experience with Enterprise Resource Applications OR an equivalent combination of training experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification considered an asset.
Salary: CUPE $40.99 per hour (2021 rate subject to change once collective agreement is updated). The city also offers progressive programs including work from home and compressed work schedules. For eligible employees, we may be able to match vacation entitlement from your current employer. There will also be opportunities for scheduled overtime.
