About the role
We're hiring a bookkeeper to help support our clients in a fully remote position.
We don't micromanage so you should be motivated to deliver quality results to your clients. And you should be comfortable with modern communication and task-management tools so that we can all collaborate effectively.
Main responsibilities:
- Full-cycle bookkeeping
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely processing of payroll
- Communicate with clients and government
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in related field, preferably at an accounting firm
- Knowledge of bank reconciliations, A/R and A/P posting, DAS remittances and month-end reconciliations
- Highly proficient in QuickBooks Online
- Familiarity with CaseWare and Taxprep is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Comfortable working remotely and using remote collaboration tools
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
