Technical Sales - After Market Support
Location: Eastern Canada – Boisbriand , QC (Kingston to Quebec Province). Ideal individual – Montreal or near Boisbriand Quebec.
Reporting: Regional Sales Manager

Compensation: $ 60,000 – $65,000 per annum + $15,000 Commission (Company Vehicle, Expensed gas, Laptop, Paid Time Off (PTO), Full Benefits after 3 months probationary period.

Home Office Based Role with Travel (35%). Must be Fully Bilingual. (French/English)

Role was created to ensure the sales of parts/services to our client’s partners and customers. You will be able to retain existing customers and develop new customers who has already used pumps and vacuum systems of our product line. Most of this role is Farming for existing customers. You will join a team of (3) sales individuals in the region. You will be the only Technical Sales Representative responsible for After Market Sales/Support in the region. You will be advising our customers on Maintenance and Service Necessary for the proper execution of our client’s pump and vacuum systems. Training will be provided at the Boisbriand, QC office.

· Travel the territory and learn about our customer’s after-sales part/service contract for the necessary functionality of our client’s vacuum and pump systems. (35%)

· Ability to visit key accounts on a regular basis to identify parts/service contracts related to the optimal functioning of our client’s equipment (15%)

· Ensure follow up with clients and selling them a service contract for maintenance and key operation of our client’s equipment. Offer clients a service contract for fast order delivery of the part. Work on service contract renewals for our client’s customers when the service contract appears to have expired. (20%)

· Develop monthly sales objectives and goals with Regional Sales Manager for new and replacement pump parts, spare parts, accessories for the customers within the territory (Eastern Quebec)

· Develop a Spare Parts and Service Marketing plan for new customers. Ensure Service Follow up on newly acquired equipment that was shipped days prior before.

To Qualify for this role:

· Maintenance Technicians or Field Service Technicians that have an interest in outside sales. (Food Processing , Plastics Plant) Familiar and understanding of Vacuum pumps in an industrial setting.

· Exposure to rotating equipment, natural gas for heating, gas-fluid management. Natural Gas for heating.

· Must be Fluently Bi-Lingual (French/English), Live in the territory (Quebec) and be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· 2 years of Repair or Service, Assembly experience. Understanding service contracts, after sales support and follow-up.

· 2 years in a technical position related to customers (Service Technician, Field Sales, Parts Sales)

· DEC or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience or training
